As far as am aware NSWA have one Hino rescue vehicle-based at Rozelle, to be manned by SOT/SCAT crews in case of a major disaster,in the Sydney CBD
.They also have a Mercedes Benz LWB sprinter that is on long term loan From F+R NSW,his was used at Cowra for some time.

It was involved in the Lightning Ridge mine rescue a few months back.
Attended the incident to do a possible recovery, ended up assisting Local SES in VR from the mine shaft,...... good ending :D .

Its disgraceful, Mungindi RFS were given the role of acting primary rescue by the State Rescue Board for that area, pending the application by SES, which was withdrawn in March, they are still showing as being secondary on the SRB list.The SRB were meant to sit on on the 9th of November,...............
