I believe its correct Matt,....I thought that the RFS had a protocol about being guided when reversing ?, I know they have one about reporting accidents to Fire Control when a RFS appliance is involved ;)

As far as am aware NSWA have one Hino rescue vehicle-based at Rozelle, to be manned by SOT/SCAT crews in case of a major disaster,in the Sydney CBD
.They also have a Mercedes Benz LWB sprinter that is on long term loan From F+R NSW,his was used at Cowra for some time.

It was involved in the Lightning Ridge mine rescue a few months back.
Attended the incident to do a possible recovery, ended up assisting Local SES in VR from the mine shaft,...... good ending :D .
