Re: Fire Plus Rescue??

One would think if you are changing the name and you want everyone to know about it the website would be the first place to start. No Still the same name and still using the same hashtag on Twitter. From the union website FRNSW Plus Plan launched Key points: Plus Plan supported, but … MFR not agreed...

Re: Tathra / Bega Valley Bushfire Report Submitted to Minister

If this information is correct, you would think that the contents of the report must be recommending changes that are either very expensive or very damming. Whatever the report recommends trying to bury or delay the release has only politicised the contents. A state government heading into an electi...

When the first tweet appeared it showed a photo of a large column of thick black smoke. While the RFS fire near me website showed the...

Re: Changes being made after Tathra

But it's a moot point anyway because FRNSW resources were at the fire well before it entered Tathra township. Two Hats are you saying there was a coordinated response between the RFS and FRNSW before 1540 hours on the day of the fire at Tathra or referring to the FRNSW resources that self-responded...

Re: Bush SAR unit from VRA to SES

Looks like Rambler got this one right If it were to happen I'd say it would likely be setup as a standalone, specialist Unit that would assist other Units with searches in their areas. The new SES Commissioner is keen to increase numbers and looking at different models of "flexible" volunteering, so...

Re: Changes being made after Tathra

Does the RFS have a system in place to identify when one of their stations is unable to respond?
