Given the above list though, I'm not sure where these Police Rescue people fit in.

What a smorgasboard...why is ASNSW even bothering to service deliver and maintain competency..?

I see Broken Hill...its a 24/7 FRNSW station isn't it, trained equiped responders ready to roll yet its secondary to SES requiring a page/call home or at primary employment, out of bed to the shed to respond.

NSW, rescue of entrapped persons is a dangerous mire of who knows who turns up and is incident commander/controller and tool operators.

Attended the incident to do a possible recovery, ended up assisting Local SES in VR from the mine shaft,...... good ending :D .

Isn't L.R. SES primary and FRNSW secondary, surely enough equipment and expertise for a recovery in a hole.

It looks like a couple of agencies (who provide a relatively small number of accredited units) have some work to do

I recall something about PRS being taken offline for VR a couple of years because of something like this. Presumably it got sorted out?
